“I guess my style changes once in a while depending on my feelings and state of mind. I love doing sketches, writing secret poetry and creating outfit designs. I draw inspiration from personal experiences, poetry, music, fashion and visual art of any kind. These series were created when i was in a kind of dark place.
Poltergeist - I was inspired by vintage Thierry Mugler/Alexander McQueen collections and the image of a strong almost monstrous woman that is frequently used by these designers. The title is inspired by my own poem.
A Fool - The first sketch i made after a difficult breakup. There was no idea in particular, I just sketched whatever my hands wanted to sketch. Empty stare, heavy shoulders, aching heart.
A Trophy - The second sketch I did after “A fool”. In christianity a lamb symbolises both pain and triumph.”
